System Requirements

At GECB, we strive to provide an optimal certification examination experience. To ensure a smooth and uninterrupted exam experience, please make sure your computer meets the following specifications:

  • Hardware: Your computer should be equipped with adequate hardware to support online testing.
  • Operating System: Compatible operating systems include Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and Mac OS 10.9 or higher.
  • Internet Connectivity: A stable internet connection with a minimum data rate of 1.5 Mbps is required.
  • Supported Browsers: Use the latest version of Google Chrome for optimal performance.

Ensure all your software and browser settings are updated to avoid any compatibility issues during the exam.

  • Web Browser: Google Chrome (latest version)
  • Operating Systems: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Mac OS 10.9 and higher
  • Internet Connection: Stable connection with at least 1.5 Mbps data rate
  • Devices: Use a laptop or desktop computer. Tablets, smartphones, and other mobile devices are not supported.

Environment Setup

To create an ideal environment for taking your exam, follow these guidelines:

  • Quiet and Well-Lit Space: Choose a quiet, well-lit area free from distractions and interruptions.
  • Clear Workspace: Ensure your workspace is free of unauthorized materials or devices.

Prepare Your PC for the Exam

  1. Download the Application: Download and install the necessary application here: GoTo Install.
  2. Check Webcam and Microphone: Verify that your webcam and microphone are working properly.
  3. Join the Exam: 30 minutes before your exam, open the installed application and use the Access Code provided by GECB to join the Proctor.
  4. Follow Instructions: Keep your webcam and microphone open and follow all instructions given by the Proctor.
