Exam General Rules
At the Global Elite Certification Board (GECB), we maintain stringent exam rules to ensure the integrity and fairness of our certification process. Here are the key guidelines you must follow during your examination:
- Proctored Exams: Your exam will be proctored. Adhere to all instructions provided by the proctor regarding security measures and guidelines.
- ID Verification: Have your ID ready for verification before starting the exam.
- Webcam and Microphone: Ensure your computer’s webcam and microphone are activated and functioning properly throughout the exam. These should remain on at all times.
- Recording: Your webcam and audio will be recorded by the GECB system for auditing purposes to maintain the integrity of the examination.
- No Breaks Allowed: Once the exam begins, you cannot take breaks. Remain in view of the webcam and keep your eyes on the screen.
- Exam Environment: Be in a closed room with a clean and clutter-free workstation. No one else is allowed in the room, and no one should walk behind you within the webcam’s view.
- Food and Drinks: Food and drinks are not allowed, except for a glass of water.
- Camera View: Your face, from chin to forehead, must remain in the camera view at all times.
- No Reading Aloud: Reading questions out loud is prohibited.
- No Screenshots: Taking pictures or screenshots of the exam is not allowed.
- Focus on Screen: Keep your eyes on the screen at all times during the test.
- No Virtual Machines: Virtual machines are detectable during the pre-exam system check and are not permitted.
- Single Monitor Use: Only one monitor attached to one computer is allowed during your exam.
- No-Show Policy: If you do not show up at the scheduled exam time, your support session will be closed, and you will miss the exam attempt.
Code of Conduct
- Integrity and Professionalism: Maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism throughout the examination process.
- No Cheating: Refrain from any form of cheating, plagiarism, or misconduct.
Exam Format
- Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs): The exam consists of multiple-choice questions.
- Timed Exam: Manage your time effectively to complete all questions within the allocated duration.
